Altex No.5 Antifouling - Copper Based

Altex No.5 Antifouling is advised:

- When multi-season fouling protection is required
- Wherever restrictions prohibit or limit the use of organotin compounds
- Tenders, dinghies, trailer yachts, and powerboats

No5 Antifouling is compatible with other copper-based antifoulings when properly prepared.It is not suitable for use on aluminium boats, outboard motors, sail drives, or stern legs.
Suitable and suggested for use on primed GRP, gelcoat, steel, timber, and ferro-cement craf.

This high performance Antifoul Paint contains a lot of cuprous oxide and its self-polishing/ablative mechanism prevents fouling organisms from adhering.
It`s suitable for high-speed craft; nevertheless, ablation rate will increase when subjected to persistent high-speed conditions.
