Epifanes PP Varnish Extra

Product Overview

A professional-grade, fast-drying, high-gloss varnish designed for all types of wood. This product is formulated with alkyd resin and isocyanate, making it an excellent choice as a sealer for oily woods such as teak and iroko.

It offers exceptional resistance to water, alcohol, and various household chemicals, with superior flow, abrasion resistance, and grain-filling capabilities. Its rapid build-up and flexibility make it ideal for use on working wood, like masts.

The varnish contains a high-quality UV filter. However, for exterior use, it is recommended to apply 2-3 coats of Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss or Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish for additional UV protection.

It serves as an ideal sealing, quick-building, and grain-filling varnish for new work on bare solid wood, both working and non-working types, as well as plywood for interior and exterior use above the waterline. It is also an excellent isolating varnish for oily tropical woods and is well-suited for interior finishes on doors, panels, and kitchen furniture, as well as maintaining existing clear two-component varnishes.
